Here's a picture I spent entirely too long on. It originated as a request from someone to see Cirno as a Deathknight from World of Warcraft. It was originally going to be a quick composition, but my OCD for detailing kicked in and I wasn't able to put it down when I should have. I just hope he didn't die of old age because I took so long to finish it.
The image itself is ginormous, but I left it that way so the viewer can take in all the smaller details that are in it. Just be warned the file size is huge before you hit download~
A special thanks goes to for being cool enough to share some of the brushes he uses for his own work. They're definitely something every digital artist should have in their arsenal.
Drawn and colored in Photoshop CS2 and CS4 Time: No damn idea~
There is some seriously bad ass coloring in this, though due to that, the skin parts of your chara look flat and out of place because they aren't as three dimensional looking as the rest of the color job.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
